Getting the Right Games in Classrooms

I have been doing some research and I have found some startling results from some previous studies. A lot of classrooms are using games in the course (or class) but the games are not meeting the curriculum needs. This wasn’t the worst finding though. It has been found that a lot of educational games being built are not being built with an educational advisory committee, but instead being built by people (or  a person) with no experience in the field. I am currently doing more research into this, but the findings so far are scary.

If you are using games in the classroom, make sure they are serving a purpose to the classroom!
