Dr. Michael Biocchi received his PhD in 2015 with his degree studies in Education Technology and E-learning. His research is currently headed towards educational games due to his prior education. Before completing his PhD, Michael had graduated with his Masters in Computer Games Technology. During his MSc, he worked with the Xbox and PS2 environment and his dissertation focus was on Mobile Games.

Currently Michael is working for Algoma University as a Academic Specialist but on top of that, he is also teaching Computer Science courses at the university and computer application courses at the local college (Sault College).

Having experience in education and with new technologies, Michael wanted to start website in which he would be able to share his experience and research. Educationtech.ca was started and it offers its readers current information on the latest technologies for education and learning, and also discusses his views on the field of education and e-learning.
